Alex Smith(1)The Kansas City Chiefs are at the top for another week by virtue of a bye as we all gear up for the long-anticipated Sunday night showdown in Denver. The Chiefs got four of five first place votes, while the Patriots ended up earning a single vote (and not from the Ghost Rat!).  Carolina moves up to #8 this week on the heals of an impressive defensive win over the 49ers, and the Monday night match-up with the #4 Patriots promises to be an intense contest. Here are our Week Eleven Power Rankings:

1. Kansas City Chiefs (9-0) [1] – Here comes the biggest test of the season
2. Seattle Seahawks (9-1) [2] – Very good… but lacking something?
3. Denver Broncos (8-1) [3] – Do we separate the MANnings from the Smiths this weekend?
4. New England Patriots (7-2) [5] – Pretty good team when healthy
5. New Orleans Saints (7-2) [7] – Offense. Offense. Offense.
6. San Francisco 49ers (6-3) [4] – Twitter’s not the answer, Colin.
7. Detroit Lions (6-3) {9] – Calvin and his friends keep carving up the competition
8. Carolina Panthers (6-3) [10] – Great defense and play from Cam, but in need of a ground game
9. Indianapolis Colts (6-3) [6] – Too inconsistent to be ranked higher, or to go very far in playoffs
10. Cincinnati Bengals (6-4) [8] – See #9
11. Chicago Bears (5-4) [13] – They out-thought themselves on the conversion, but McCown should have been in earlier
12. Green Bay Packers (5-4) [11] – Going down…
13. Dallas Cowboys (5-5) [12] – Can Tony Oh-No lead them to nine wins?
14. Arizona Cardinals (5-4) [17] – Carson Palmer 5.0 and a good defense have them competing
15. Philadelphia Eagles (5-5) [20] – We told you Foles was good!
16. San Diego Chargers (4-5) [14] – Chargers’ mantra: We confuse everyone because we’re not supposed to be good!
17. New York Jets (5-4) [19] – If games only counted every other week…
18. Tennessee Titans (4-5) [15] – How can they not be able to run the ball???
19. Baltimore Ravens (4-5) [18] – Remember when we won the Super Bowl last year?
20. Miami Dolphins (4-5) [16] – Too bad they can’t bully their opponents…
21. Cleveland Browns (4-5) [21] – Is Campbell enough to get them to 8-8?
22. St. Louis Rams (4-6) [23] – Is Zach Stacy the new Steven Jackson?
23. Buffalo Bills (3-7) [22] – CJ Spillered all over the place
24. New York Giants (3-6) [28] – Eli = Elite? Not!

30. Minnesota Vikings (2-7) [30] – AP should be thinking trade
31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8) [31] – Bucs’ third string is their best
32. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-8) [32] – Thanks, Tennessee!
